Musk ponders the news of selling Tesla to Apple. In a tweet made by Elon Musk CEO, Tesla claims of reaching out to, Tim Cook, CEO, Apple.

“Elon Musk has said he contacted Apple Inc’s Tim Cook “during the darkest days of the Model 3 program” to discuss the possibility of Apple buying the Tesla electric car company for “1/10th of our current value … He [Cook] refused to take the meeting”, Musk Tweeted.

According to sources,  Apple has discreetly starting building up an electric car from the scratch and has also actively hired a quite a big number of ex-Tesla executives, along with other companies that specializes in the self-driving technology. Reports suggest that Apple is looking to produce a driverless  car by 2024 with a new battery technology. Shares of both Tesla and Apple have surged since the beginning of 2017.

Musk reaching out to Apple didn’t come out as a surprise to many, because according to the autobiography of Elon Musk, in 2013, seeking options to save the company amid problems with early sales, Musk struck a “handshake deal” for his friend Larry Page’s Google company to buy Tesla.

Now the question arises, will we see the Apple Tech Giant entering in the Automotive space sooner in near future?
