‘The Most Beautiful Building on Earth’- Dubai’s Museum of the Future opens its Doors Today

The Index Today

The much-awaited opening of Dubai’s Museum of the Future is set to happen today, on 22.02.22. Hailed “the most beautiful building on earth,” this spectacular work of architecture took nine years to build and stands 77 meters tall.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will grace the inaugural ceremony alongside other government bureaucrats.

The pillar-less structure is an expression of the future which it showcases through multiple interactive exhibitions, offering patrons a glimpse into the various technologies and practices that will make up the future of the world.

Stretched across an area of 30,000 square meters, the architectural wonder has been referred to as a “living laboratory” that aims to unite the Arab world in a mission to achieve a sustainable and technologically advanced future.

The Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the Museum of the Future, Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi said, “The Museum of the Future has been designed to help generate new solutions for the future challenges. The museum’s exhibitions will fuel the passion of present and future generations, and spark their intellectual curiosity for science, technology and the knowledge that will help humanity to thrive and prosper in the decades ahead.”
