10,000 Australians Demand Compensation for Vaccine Side-Effects

Thousands of Australians have registered to seek compensation for health problems caused by the Covid vaccine. The government may be held liable to cover damages worth A$50 million according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
Over 10,000 complaints have been put forward to receive compensation for loss of income or hospitalization caused as a direct result of getting vaccinated. Some hospitalizations have been recorded for side effects from the vaccine. The government program for compensation starts at A$5,000 and could lead to a total compensation disbursement of over A$50 million.
According to data provided on Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration TGA website, complaints of side-effects of the vaccine were received, most which included sore arm pain, fever, chills and headaches. The company has received over 79,000 reports so far.
Therapeutic Goods Administration has assessed around 288 reports, linking Pfizer vaccine shots to heart inflammation. On the other hand clotting disorders called thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome TTS were linked with the AstraZeneca Plc vaccine. Nine deaths have been recorded so far from the vaccine rollout program, most of which were over 65 years of age.
