5G Technology to Expand Beyond Just Smartphones

5G technology has opened doors to a new era where the superfast technology goes beyond just smartphones capabilities. Users can now see the first wave of 5G enabled gadgets in everything ranging from virtual-reality games to healthcare and so much more.
One of the first key products to use 5G technology was broadband internet services. The new network has helped eliminate the need of wires and expensive bills. Leading companies such a Samsung and Verizon are now offering 5G routers that can pick 5G signals with ease.
Aside from internet technology, markets are becoming flooded with 5G compatible laptops which offer better image and video quality, improved streaming services and 5G network connectivity. Lenova Ltd partnered with AT&T to develop a new 5G enabled ThinkPad X13 which comes with a 13.3 inch.
Qualcomm is manufacturing 5G enabled drones which have advanced AI capabilities and can capture high quality content. Such drones can be used in a number of other industries such as a movie directing, emergency services, mapping large areas and more.
Technology experts have said the new faster technology will make day-to-day life much more convenient and advanced, where everything is connected to the network and data can be exchanged at high speeds. Qualcomm CEO said in a statement, “The goal of 5G, when we have a mature 5G network globally, is going to be to ensure that everything is connected to the cloud 100% of the time.”
