Japan’s stocks edged higher after trades closed on Friday spearheaded by gains in the warehousing, glass, and insurance sectors.

According to Investing.com, Nikkei 225 climbed by 0.695 during trade closure with Tokyo Electric Power Co. Inc. rising by 16.23% to trade at 530.00 towards the end, while Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and Komatsu Ltd. inched up by 6.08% and 8.52% to trade at 3,386.00 and 3,230.00 respectively.

Bullish stocks exceeded bearish ones on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 2228 to 1337 with 215 remaining stable at the close, reported Investing.com. The Nikkei Volatility that oversees the implicit volatility of Nikkei 225 options, surged to a new one-month high of 27.83 by 11.01%.
