Microsoft joined Metaverse; Plans on Hyperconnectivity and Digitization of Workplaces

Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft said Metaverse is transforming how we see and participate in the world and it is the next step for Microsoft. Confirming that the company joined Meta in pouring billions into augmented and virtual reality technology.
Microsoft is building an identity system – a connective network, which allows people and organizations to make real-time access decisions.
For companies to collaborate with customers, partners, and other organizations, digital space is needed. Ideally, Microsoft aims to continue the progress of hyperconnectivity through metaverse that is powered by data and AI. That will allow connecting the digital and physical worlds.
The CEO also said, “In a sense, the metaverse enables us to embed computing into the real world and to embed the real world into computing, bringing real presence to any digital space. For years we've talked about creating this digital representation of the world. But now we actually have the opportunity to go into that world and participate in it.”
Nadella also talked broadly about the digitization of workplaces. In metaverse, workers could interact as avatars or holograms, so those, who work remotely are fully integrated into the workspace, dailycoin said in their report.
