Pepsi in League with Billboard to Launch ‘Winners Club’ NFT Collection

The Index Today

Pepsi on Wednesday announced its partnership with Billboard that aims to bring a cutting-edge NFT experience to users.

According to Billboard News, the Pepsi Mic Drop x Billboard Music Awards “Winners’ Club” NFT Collection has been created in collaboration with MRC Live & Alternative, and will make its exclusive debut at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.

This initiative will afford fans the opportunity to mint NFTs from the collection, which will be available only through the BilboardChartStars platform, for free. During the ceremony, with every announcement of an award, an NFT collectible will be released in actual time, allowing fans to claim it for free, but only for 20 minutes.

Billboard has also assured that the NFT collection has been created using superior, environment-friendly blockchain technology, Flow, where minting an NFT collectible takes up just 1/12th the energy needed to run a web search.
