U.S. Bank JP Morgan to pay a Fine of $29.6 M for Tax Fraud

Thursday, a representative from the French financial prosecutor’s office said that the famous U.S. bank JP Morgan has agreed to pay the fine of 25 million euros ($29.6 million) for the settlement of the tax fraud case.
The financial prosecutor’s office said in a statement that the Paris court approved the settlement on Thursday morning and the settlement was agreed with the other party, JP Morgan.
The settlement follows a probe opened last 2012 as per the report from Reuters in Paris.
