UK Consumer Spending on Card Increases 102%

The office of National Statistics ONS stated on Thursday that British consumer spending through credit cards has increased in the first week of October to 102% as compared to the spending levels recorded in February last year.
According to ONS reports, number of online job advertisements remained at the same level as last weeks, around 40% over pre-pandemic levels. Highest gains of 380% were recorded in logistics, warehouse jobs and transport.
