Diversity & Inclusion: SAG Awards 2022 Makes History
The 2022 SAG Awards will go down in history as one of the most inclusive award show ceremonies where diversity reigned supreme.

Troy Kotsur became the first deaf actor to win the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for the portrayal of his character Frank Rossi in Coda.
Netflix smash-hit show Squid Game became the first Korean TV show and first foreign language television series to win accolades at the SAG Awards.
Lee Jung-jae won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series, while HoYeon Jung won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in the same category. Squid Game also earned a third win for Outstanding Action Performance as a Stunt Ensemble.
Ariana DeBose bagged the Outstanding Performance in a Supporting Role award for her performance in West Side Story, making her the first Latina actress to earn the win.
