Elon Musk Will Sell Tesla if Proved that $6B Money can Solve World Hunger

After a United Nation’s official claimed that a small portions of Elon Musk’s wealth could help fix the world’s hunger problems, the tech entrepreneur responded and asked for proof of the claim.

David Beasley, director of the World Food Programme at the UN tweeted earlier this month asking Elon Musk to “step up now, on a one-time basis.” The official asked for the billionaire to take some form of action help eliminate world hunger and prevent over 42 million people from dying.

Elon Musk tweeted back saying, “If WFP can describe on this twitter thread exactly how $6B will solve world hunger, I will sell Tesla stock right now and do it.”

Just recently the billionaire’s company, Tesla, joined the elite trillionaire club after increasing its market value with a new Hertz order for over 100,000 vehicles. Although the $6 billion amount is barely a small portion of the entrepreneurs entire net worth, he has asked for proof of how it can change the issue of starvation around the globe. He further tweeted, “But it must be open source accounting, so public sees precisely how the money is spent.”
