Biden to Travel to 9/11 Sites to Honor Victims and Mark 20th Anniversary

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are expected to travel to New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia next Saturday, to mark the 20th anniversary of the deadly 9/11 attacks.

According to White House reports, the president and first lady are scheduled to visit New York City, Shanksville in Pennsylvania, and Arlington, Virginia.


Kamala Harris, Vice President, and Dough Emhoff will also be traveling to Shanksville to visit the site of the United Flight 93 crash. This event will be followed by reuniting with the President later at the Pentagon.


President Biden visited the memorial in New York last year to pay his respects. However, it is not clear whether he will be making any remarks at the event.


Former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle will also be attendance at the 9/11 ceremony in New York. It has been confirmed that Former President W. Bush and Lady Laura Bush will be traveling to Shanksville where he will be delivering remarks during the opening ceremony to honor all those killed in the United Flight 93 crash.
